The borough of Downingtown dates back to the 1700s when it was called Milltown due to the number of mills in the area. It wasn’t until the 1800s when Downingtown received its new name to honor Thomas Downing, a prominent businessman who owned many of those mills.
SPA received its new name in 1999, but the location has served as a car wash since the 1980s. As Delaware Valley locals, the current owners were patrons before taking over the business. They are now proud to continue the company’s legacy by optimizing operations.
The state-of-the-art facilities offer exceptional car wash and detail services that benefits customers, the community, and the environment as a whole. By limiting water use to 25-35 gallons per vehicle and using eco-friendly cleaning products and processes, SPA not only helps protect the environment, but also the finishes of the high-end cars we service—including Volvo, Mercedes, BMW, Toyota, and Range Rovers.
SPA also offers fundraising opportunities to area businesses. We print discounted car wash tickets for use in auctions or raffles and reward the company for every ticket used. This community support helps to boost the local economy.
